Hand painted dog portraits
ARTIST BIO
Hi, my name is Amanda and I specialise in contemporary dog paintings and portraits, sometimes painting the odd cat too !
I hold a BA degree in Creative art and a Post grad cert. MA in illustration having studied at St. Martins school of art, Open College of the Arts and the University of Hertfordshire.

I have an extensive background in the field of art and design and have been specialising in dog portraiture for almost a decade.
I’m a member of the Association of Animal Artists and I am a supporter of Guide Dogs for the Blind.
I live and work from my studio on the fringe of the beautiful Peak District National Park which is a constant source of inspiration and where I walk daily with my own dogs.
Studio visits are always welcome.
I paint predominantly in water mixable oil paint which is solvent free and kinder to the environment and all packaging used is recycled.
